Mobbs Memorial Trust Limited

The Trust funds capital works and equipment for projects that serve the public benefit across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Priority areas include community halls, sports clubs, hostels, housing associations, care centres, and educational and medical charities. They support causes such as community development, children and youth, older people, disability, education, physical and mental health, sport and recreation, poverty, and homelessness. The Trust particularly welcomes projects that also obtain funding from other sources, reflecting a preference for match-funded initiatives.

Eligible applicants include registered charities, community interest companies, community groups, schools, and trusts. The Trust funds projects that benefit the general public within Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. There is no restriction on religious affiliation. Applications are accepted from organisations operating locally, and the Trust considers each application on its own merit.

The Trust does not fund core costs, salaries, project delivery, or individuals. Projects must be located within Buckinghamshire and Berkshire; work outside this area is not supported. Ongoing operational costs and general running expenses are also excluded.

The Trust provides one-off capital grants for projects and equipment. They encourage match funding and prefer initiatives that also secure support from other sources. Unsolicited applications are welcome and are considered on their individual merits.
