Ofenheim Charitable Trust

The Trust supports a wide range of causes, including health services such as mental health counselling and preventative care; disability support like respite care, day services, and inclusive activities for people with learning disabilities, autism, and ADHD; housing projects tackling homelessness and providing supported living; arts and cultural initiatives including creative therapy and heritage preservation; and environmental conservation efforts promoting green spaces. The kinds of work funded include therapeutic activities, befriending schemes, advocacy, after-school clubs, residential care, and drop-in centres. Grants are made to charities operating in East Sussex, England, and Wales.

Registered charities and community groups can apply. The Trust primarily supports small to medium organisations delivering local impact in East Sussex, but also considers charities working across England and Wales. Priority beneficiaries include children, young people, elderly individuals, disabled adults, and families in crisis. There are no faith-based requirements. The Trust welcomes applications from organisations that directly benefit their beneficiaries, with an emphasis on direct community impact.

The Trust does not impose any specific exclusions; it funds a broad range of charitable activities across its stated themes. However, it emphasises direct beneficiary benefit over administrative overhead, so organisations with high overheads may be less likely to receive support. There are no faith-based requirements or restrictions on the type of intervention.
