Paviors' Charity

The Charity supports causes that advance education, training, and professional development in construction, engineering, paving, and allied infrastructure sectors. It funds project-based initiatives such as apprenticeships, scholarships, youth qualifications, and awards like the Dr Sue Sharland Medal. Capital heritage projects and matched funding for member-linked activities are also supported. The Charity backs City of London affiliates, including the Lord Mayor's Appeal, HM Armed Forces, and regular partners such as Arkwright Scholarships Trust, London Construction Academy, and heritage sites like Ironbridge Gorge Museum. While primarily focused on London and the City, it supports relevant causes across the UK.

The Charity funds UK registered charities and academic institutions, preferring established organisations that align with its sector expertise in construction, engineering, and infrastructure. It prioritises partners with a focus on youth training, professional development, and skills investment. The Charity does not accept unsolicited applications; it works with pre-selected partners or through matched funding for member-linked activities. There is no strict geographic base requirement or income threshold, but grassroots groups are less likely to be supported.
