The Trust prioritises applicants based in or serving the Ashford area of Kent. There is no religious restriction.

The Trust does not support retrospective costs, meaning it cannot cover expenses already incurred. It also does not provide funding that substitutes for statutory support, such as student loans or government grants. General fundraising appeals, where the benefit is not clearly targeted, are also excluded. Projects that are not directly benefiting the Ashford area are unlikely to be funded.
