Pharmacist Support

Pharmacist Support funds direct individual support for mental health, financial hardship, addiction recovery, resilience building, and pastoral care. This includes financial grants for essentials, funded counselling sessions, addiction services, peer support, and wellbeing services such as the Wardley Wellbeing Service. The charity also runs campaigns, workshops, and provides digital resources focused on wellbeing. Support is available to eligible individuals across Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales). The charity's work addresses a range of vulnerabilities including illness, disability, bereavement, and distress, with a focus on crisis response and preventative wellbeing.

Pharmacist Support provides support exclusively to individuals within the pharmacy family: pharmacists, former pharmacists, trainees, pharmacy students, and their dependants. Applicants must be experiencing vulnerability due to illness, disability, bereavement, or distress. There are no income thresholds, religious restrictions, or size limits applied. Beneficiaries must be based in England, Scotland, or Wales, and be able to demonstrate their professional status or relationship to a pharmacy professional, as well as their need for support.

Pharmacist Support does not fund organisations, project grants, capital, or core costs. It only supports individuals within the pharmacy family and does not fund applicants outside Great Britain. Organisational initiatives, group projects, or any form of institutional funding are not within its scope.

Pharmacist Support provides funding as one-off grants to address immediate hardship or to access services such as counselling or addiction support. The charity uses a needs-led approach, tailoring support to individual circumstances. It blends crisis response with preventative wellbeing initiatives. Funding is not provided for ongoing core costs or multi-year projects.
