Popham Kidney Support funds peer mentoring and peer support groups to combat isolation, patient-led education on disease management and self-advocacy, welfare assistance for essential personal and household needs, hospital grants for non-NHS items improving clinical care and comfort, advocacy for systemic renal improvements, and public awareness campaigns promoting preventative health. Their work is focused exclusively on the Welsh renal community, supporting children, young people, and adults with chronic kidney disease, along with their families and carers. Interventions are holistic, including emotional counselling, practical financial relief, volunteer-led befriending, and community outreach.
