Quintin Hogg Trust

The Quintin Hogg Trust, established in 1903 and restructured as a charity in 2001, is a specialist funder dedicated exclusively to advancing the education of students at the University of Westminster in Central London. Beneficiaries are strictly University of Westminster students, staff, and affiliated academic or student groups; no support for people or communities outside this scope.

Eligibility is limited to University of Westminster-linked entities in Central London—no external charities, unsolicited applications, or organisations beyond its campuses. Applications for PhD studentships use the University's online research degree system (specifying 'Quintin Hogg Trust Studentship'), requiring proposals, transcripts, statements, and references; deadline 5pm, 7 February 2025, with interviews from 10 March. Other strategic grants lack public deadlines and route through the University. Awards cover full home fees plus UKRI-aligned stipends (~£21,237/year for 3+ years); project grants range from tens of thousands to millions. Exclusions: non-Westminster activities, core costs for externals, or anything outside its tight educational remit.
