The Trust works exclusively through selected frontline partners, which are medium-to-large UK organisations with substantial caseloads in holistic frontline support. Small grassroots or volunteer-led groups are not considered. Partner staff apply on behalf of clients, who are individuals facing acute disadvantage. Priority beneficiary groups include people exiting homelessness, domestic abuse survivors, those with disabilities or chronic illness, single parents, older adults, refugees, migrants, and low-income families on benefits. The Trust's support is available to people across the UK.

The Trust does not fund core costs, long-term projects, capital works or ongoing expenses. Its grants are for one-off essential items, not for recurring costs or capital improvements. The Trust's funding is specifically for urgent individual relief, so it does not support organisational overheads, multi-year projects, or large-scale capital works.
