Radstock Trust CIO

The Trust supports activities that promote Evangelical Protestant beliefs, including theological education, Bible-based outreach, evangelism training, and publications. Grant-making focuses on project-based initiatives that advance these religious objects, with the general public and Christian voluntary organisations as the target audience. Work must take place in England and Wales. Rather than delivering its own projects, the Trust channels support entirely through grants to aligned charities, helping them carry out Bible-centred evangelical work.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities demonstrably aligned with Protestant Evangelical aims, operating in England and Wales. This includes registered community groups as well as larger charities, though the Trust prefers established medium-to-larger entities with proven capacity. Charities must robustly centre on Bible-based doctrine to qualify, and their work should reach the general public or Christian voluntary organisations. Faith alignment is central, and the Trust only considers Christian organisations that share its specific theological focus.

The Trust does not fund non-Evangelical, non-Christian, or geographically extraneous work. Individual churches are also excluded, as are unproven groups without a track record. Additionally, it does not support core costs, capital projects, or unrestricted grants—its support is strictly for project-based initiatives that advance its religious objects.

The Trust operates by invitation only and does not accept unsolicited applications. It provides grants to aligned Christian charities, favouring project-based support rather than running its own initiatives. Its funding is highly selective, driven by trustee discretion and a rigorous mission fit. Grant-making is focused on advancing the study and dissemination of the Holy Scriptures and Protestant Evangelical doctrines.
