Rotary Club of Bath Trust Fund

The Trust supports a broad range of causes including support for older people, homelessness, poverty and hardship, children and youth, education and skills, employment, physical health, arts and culture, environment, community development, and social enterprise. It funds capital works, project delivery, and core costs. Priority is given to organisations addressing the needs of those who live and operate within the Bath area, ensuring that grants have a direct local impact.

Applications are principally accepted from charities registered with the Charities Commission. The Trust prioritises organisations that serve the Bath area, with a focus on smaller, local groups rather than large national bodies. Beneficiaries include older people, those affected by homelessness or poverty, disadvantaged individuals, and youth. There is no religious restriction on applicants.

The Trust does not fund salaries, grants to individuals, or repeat applications within three years of a previous grant. Applications from organisations outside the Bath area are unlikely to be considered.

Grants are typically one-off but on rare occasions the Trust may consider supporting a charity for up to three years. Funding can cover core costs, project delivery, and capital works. The Trust welcomes unsolicited applications and operates on a rolling basis, with decisions made locally.
