Sloane Robinson Foundation

Eligible applicants are exclusively large, established UK academic institutions based in England and Wales, such as Oxford colleges or the University of Bristol. Small charities, grassroots groups, and non-UK entities are not eligible. The Foundation prioritises talented postgraduate students from less advantaged backgrounds in Africa and Asia, as well as British students seeking to study abroad. Funding is administered by partner universities, so individual students or organisations cannot apply directly.

The Foundation does not support direct individual aid, non-educational activities, core costs, unrestricted support, or general charity operations. It is not open to small charities or grassroots groups. Unsolicited applications are not accepted, and funding is limited to the established academic institutions it partners with.
