Social Bite Fund

The Social Bite Fund focuses on ending homelessness and tackling extreme social exclusion. It supports collaborative projects, capital builds like modular housing, and seed funding for scalable models. Key areas of work include supported employment for people with lived experience of homelessness, transitional housing, free meal programmes, and multi-agency collaborations that address the underlying causes of poverty. The Fund also invests in advocacy and systemic change efforts. Its support is primarily directed to organisations operating in Scotland, with occasional projects in London.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities, preferably medium-to-large organisations with established networks and capacity for partnerships. The Fund primarily supports organisations operating in Scotland, particularly in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Dundee. It prioritises groups that work directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and extreme social exclusion. Funding is invite-only and strategic, with no open application rounds; the Fund approaches partners through its networks.

The Social Bite Fund does not fund core costs or unrestricted funding. It also does not accept unsolicited applications; all funding is by invitation only. Emergency aid alone is not supported, as the Fund focuses on long-term transformation.
