The Trust supports charitable institutions and purposes, with a strong preference for organisations linked to Herefordshire and serving rural communities. Environmental conservation efforts focus on safeguarding natural habitats, biodiversity, and green spaces through community-led projects and wildlife preservation. Registered charities and community groups are eligible, particularly those with deep local ties and alignment with the trustees' values. Beneficiaries include children, young people, underserved learners, and justice-involved individuals. The Trust favours grassroots, locally-focused organisations over large-scale operations.

The Trust does not fund grants to individuals, emergency aid, retrospective costs, or sectors lacking a connection to the trustees' personal interests. Support is directed only to charitable organisations, not to individuals.

The Trust provides unrestricted core funding, project support, and occasional capital aid, often with trustee involvement. It welcomes unsolicited applications and values authentic partnerships with grantee organisations.
