The Trust does not fund individuals or organisations that are well-known household names or umbrella bodies. While the Trust supports faith-inspired initiatives, it will only fund the advancement of a faith group for the Religious Society of Friends and organisations unambiguously aligned with it.
What W F Southall Trust doesn't fund
The Trust does not fund causes relating to animals, medical research or sport and recreation. It excludes retrospective costs, replacement funding, emergency appeals, lottery or gambling activities, alcohol purchases and fossil fuel purchases. Organisations that support the bearing of arms or the arms trade are ineligible. The Trust also does not support the advancement or promotion of any faith group except the Religious Society of Friends and organisations closely aligned with it.
