Greater Manchester High Sheriff's Police Trust

Registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations, and community groups based in Greater Manchester are eligible to apply. The Trust supports organisations that serve the general public, victims of crime, and other vulnerable groups. It cannot issue cheques to individuals, and organisations may only receive funding once every two years. Applicants should demonstrate how their work aligns with the Trust's priorities of reducing crime and supporting community safety.

The Trust does not fund vehicles, salaries, professional fees, or core costs. It also excludes capital works and cannot issue grants to individuals. Organisations that have received funding within the last two years are not eligible for a new grant.

The Trust provides grants for specific projects and activities, including equipment, training, events, and research. It favours one-off project support and does not fund ongoing core costs or salaries. The Trust welcomes unsolicited applications from eligible organisations working within Greater Manchester.
