Huddersfield Town Foundation

The Foundation focuses on children, young people, and vulnerable groups across Kirklees, with some reach into Calderdale. The Foundation works with community groups, UK-registered charities, and academic institutions, but only by invitation or through proactive outreach. They prioritise organisations based in Kirklees, with some consideration for those in Calderdale. The Foundation does not set fixed income thresholds but prefers small, locally embedded groups without large turnovers. Their programmes and grants target children, young people, and vulnerable individuals, including older adults, care leavers, and those at risk of social isolation or crime. Faith-based organisations are not restricted, but the Foundation's focus remains secular and inclusive.

The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals or applications. It will not fund activities outside its priority areas of learning, movement, health, and safe spaces, nor work that takes place beyond its geographic focus of Kirklees and Calderdale. Organisations that are not locally rooted or that operate on a large scale are unlikely to be supported.

The Foundation primarily delivers its own programmes, occasionally offering modest grants to partner organisations.
