Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities of small to medium size with a demonstrable history in these areas—no income thresholds, regional restrictions, or religious criteria apply, and unsolicited applications are welcomed via written letter at any time. Trustees review submissions at regular ad hoc meetings (historically quarterly, now more frequent), with decisions made on a rolling basis and no fixed deadlines or online portal. Total annual giving ranges from £125,000 to £265,000 in small grants, excluding non-religious activities or those outside its core spiritual focus, making it a unique partner for inclusive, non-sectarian spiritual missions.
