Postcode Community Trust

The trust funds a range of community-led activities in Wales, with a particular focus on physical activity and arts participation, biodiversity and green spaces, and mental health support. It also supports initiatives that aid marginalised groups, including those facing racial inequity, disability, or LGBT+ discrimination. Grants are unrestricted and flexible, covering core costs, project costs, and capacity building. The trust prioritises organisations working in Wales' most deprived areas. It does not require match funding and welcomes applications for a wide variety of community projects.

Eligible organisations include UK-registered charities, community interest companies with asset locks, community groups, parochial church councils, and sports clubs. All activities must be delivered exclusively in Wales. Applicants must have at least one year of operation and signed accounts. The trust gives preference to smaller organisations, particularly those with limited resources. It also requires grantees to commit to the Living Wage. Faith groups are welcome as long as they are not solely religious in nature. The trust values simplicity and aims to reduce bureaucracy for applicants.

The trust does not fund universities, higher education colleges, or organisations that are solely religious in nature. It also does not support activities that take place outside Wales.
