Prism the Gift Fund

Prism supports a wide range of charitable causes, including education, health, disability, arts, poverty alleviation, humanitarian aid, medical research, and international development. The Fund directs donor-driven grants to initiatives of all scales, from grassroots community projects to global campaigns. Specific areas of focus include refugee support, rare disease research, and multifaceted international causes. Funding can cover project costs, core operating expenses, unrestricted support, capital investments, emergency relief, and capacity building. There are no geographic restrictions; grants can be made to organisations anywhere in the world, subject to compliance checks.

Eligible organisations are primarily UK-registered charities and vetted non-profits worldwide. There are no income thresholds or size limits, but all potential recipients undergo compliance checks. Prism supports a diverse range of beneficiaries, spanning all ages and backgrounds, with particular emphasis on refugees, individuals affected by rare diseases, and those in underserved communities. However, the Fund does not accept direct applications; funding is available only through recommendation by an active donor or Collective Fund account holder. Organisations seeking support should be aware that the process is donor-led rather than open to unsolicited approaches.

As a generalist enabler, Prism does not restrict funding to specific causes, but it cannot support activities that fall outside UK charity law or are non-compliant with regulatory requirements. This includes any illegal purposes or activities that would compromise the Fund's charitable status. Beyond this, there are no exclusions on cause area, geography, or organisation size.
