Sunderland All Together Consortium CIO

The Consortium funds open access and detached youth activities, mental health support such as the Good Vibes project, holiday provision that tackles food insecurity, and work with care-experienced young people. It supports direct engagement, capacity building for member organisations, core costs, project costs, and occasional capital needs. The emphasis is on holistic wellbeing, resilience, and collaborative models that benefit Sunderland's children, young people, and families. All funding is restricted to work within Sunderland.

Only Sunderland-based youth organisations are eligible. These are typically small to medium-sized local charities or affiliates with proven expertise and reach within the sector. The Consortium prioritises organisations that are embedded in the local youth work community and serve vulnerable groups, including children and young people who are care-experienced or facing mental health challenges. There are no strict income thresholds, but preference is given to those with a strong track record. The Consortium operates on an invite-only membership basis, so unsolicited applications are not accepted.

The Consortium does not fund non-youth initiatives, activities that take place outside Sunderland, or emergency relief. It also does not support organisations that are not Sunderland-based or that do not focus on children and young people.
